Vegan Turmeric Rice Pudding

Ingredients

     1 cup arborio rice
     1 teaspoon vanilla
     1/3 cup sugar
     1 teaspoon ground turmeric 

     2 cans full fat coconut milk

     1/2 cup Dona Turmeric 

     Pinch of salt 
   
     

 

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer and continue to cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed - about 20 minutes. 

Remove from heat and serve. Garnish with chopped dates and toasted walnuts and serve with vegan ice cream.
